Follow
these signs. They have a habit of disapearing, but sometimes
they are there. I also put out red balloons on the road signs,
but they also don't stay there long.
From I-65 take the Good Hope exit (#304). Go west, away from Cullman (left over the bridge from B'ham, or right from Huntsville). Go .8 miles to the first red light and make a right turn. After the red light bear left at the fork of the road and continue on that road for 4.2 miles. The road will end (T) at the intersection of County Road 222. Travel west (left turn) on 222 for 7.5 miles and look for County Road 852, this is known locally as the totem pole (it is obvious when you see it). Turn left on 852 and go for 2 miles, just after you pass Sulphur Springs Church turn right on Co Rd 870 (first road). Stay on 870 until you reach a 3 way stop, about 1.5 mi., continue STRAIGHT though the intersection (it looks like the road turns but it does not). After the stop sign stay on 870. We are the 2nd house on the right (about a half mile). The road surface does not change between the stop sign and the Red Rooster.
